Mystery Dragon Egg

These were originally found by farmers in China long ago, but there have been many found throughout the United States. Scientists first thought these large 5 inch eggs to be giant bird eggs. But they seemed too hard and too old. Other scientist thought they were an ancient fish eggs. It was not clear what kind of creature could have laid such a large egg. These eggs had to have come from some extinct creature that roamed our planet long ago. The U.S. Chief Scientist from Washington D.C. studied the egg closely for some time and he finally discovered what they were.
